The Pavilion Project complies with the UK Data Protection Act of 2018. A condition of that Act is that we explicitly inform you about personal information we collect about you, how we use it & to whom it may be passed to.

We collect details such as your name, address, telephone number, date of birth, relevant health & medical details, emergency contact details & how best to contact the named person(s), personal information to enable us to match you with appropriate support & to outline any specific personal requirements such as diet, culture or religion.

We will use this information to provide the agreed day services to you. This will include administering our accounts, issuing invoices & monitoring payments for those services & also to enable us to deal with any queries or complaints. We will maintain records for our own administration & to comply with our contractual, statutory & any other legal obligations in relation to our business.

Your information will be shared with the relevant members of our staff including support workers who need to know this information in order to provide our services to you & office personnel involved in the management & administration of your service. The Pavilion Project may use your information in a general way (which will not identify you) to analyse activities & trends within our business. This will ensure we continually enhance & refine the quality of the service we offer.

We are very aware of the need to keep this information secure & in a confidential manner. We will not use this information for any other purpose than outlined above & we will not disclose it to any other organisation without your expressed consent. (The only exception to this is Trafford or Local Borough Council Learning Disability Team & Community Nurses or local authority social workers/nurses, co-providers & only within the scope of ‘best interest or safeguarding’ requirements)

Retention of information – If a service user leaves The Pavilion Project, all personal information will be destroyed after 2 years.
